YMCA Peace Medal 2008 Award

 

The Brazil-Canada Project for Professional Development - NewClassroom was honoured with the YMCA Calgary Peace Medal 2008 Award for promoting peace and social justice.

We thank you YMCA for the recognition of the work carried on for many volunteers that have made this dream come true every year.

Thank you also to the Brazilian teachers who attended the program, their wishes to transform and make the Brazilian public education better by sharing, teaching and learning.

Thank you also to Paulo Freire for the inspiration and love.
